Last year I had the pleasure to meet Joe and Alyssa while photographing Thomas and Abby's wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. When I received an email from Alyssa telling me of their engagement I was honored when they asked me to work with them on their wedding day. The day was absolutely gorgeous, and I loved the fact I got to go back to Minnesota. Shooting at Macalester College and hitting the alleys in downtown

St. Paul made for great backdrops for the pictures.

This post is a a lot bigger than normal...I wanted to share all the special candid moments along

with the artsy posed pictures:)

Seeing each other for the first time.

I don't think Joe realized he was nervously playing with his

wedding ring while waiting for Alyssa.

Most of my clients see each other before the ceremony, this allows them to have a special moment alone and to help decrease any extra tension. It's also great because we get alot more photos and have more time to hit cool and artsy spots.

St. paul has great history, I love shooting there:)

It's hard to believe that it has already been a year since I photographed Jon and Kirsten's wedding. To celebrate they wanted to do a one year anniversary photo session, what a great idea:)

At first we were going to do some artsy industrial photos in Long Beach but last minute we decided to do the shoot where I live in Temecula. I love the green, the sunflowers and sunlight in the pictures, they are beautiful! It was great working with you two again, thanks again for coming out!

Hector and Celeste's wedding was one of the most entertaining weddings I have been to in a while! Not only are they a great couple, they also have an outgoing group of family and friends.

The guests were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset and dance the night away with Earl from Musically Yours DJ at the reception which took place at the La Jolla Cove Suites.

With the help of Melissa Barrad, Adam was able to plan this romantic proposal and engagement session as a surprise to his soon to be fiance. Even though I had to be discrete so his fiance would not know what was going on, I managed to capture some very emotional and intimate portraits. Congratulations you two!
